ACK48003 Supermarine Type 224, K2890, RAF Model Kit
This 1/48 scale cast resin construction kit features the Supermarine Type 224, a British gull-wing monoplane fighter aircraft designed by R.J. Mitchell at Supermarine in response to Air Ministry Specification F.7/30, which sought to introduce a new fighter to succeed the Gloster Gauntlet. The Type 224 was powered by a Rolls-Royce Goshawk engine, which used an experimental evaporative cooling system.
 
This kit has a total of 14 cast resin parts along with clear material to form a windscreen. 
 
The decal sheet is silkscreen printed and provides full marking for two versions of K2890, the sole Supermarine Type 224 during test flights in 1934.
