This 1/72 scale multi-media construction kit has options for 4 Westland Whirlwind HAS.7's operated by the Royal Navy on various SAR, Anti-submarine, Commando and Testing duties. A choice of four marking options are provided on the decal sheet.
 
  1. XK907 / 9, Empire Test Pilots School, 1962-68.
  2. XN384 / H B, 848 Sqn. HMS Bulwark.
  3. XN387 / 626, 719 Sqn. RNAS Eglington, 1961.
  4. XK943 / 58 CU, 705 Sqn. RNAS Culdrose, 1963-66.
 
The 70 plus components are cast in resin, smaller detailing parts are provided in etched brass and white metal. The decal sheet is silkscreen printed and provides full marking for these varied colour schemes.
